Red dot sight

A red dot sight is an optical device that is mounted on the frame of a weapon and makes target acquisition easier and faster at shorter ranges or on moving targets. When aiming through conventional fixed sights, the shooter must align the front sight with the rear sight and aim at the target at the same time. When shooting with a red dot sight, however, you only need to align the sights with the target, making shooting faster, more comfortable and easier. The red dot sigh lens displays a point of light that is not projected into space on the target as with laser sights, but remains projected only on the lens, so only the shooter can see it. The dot can have different colors, different illumination intensities, as well as different shapes (dot, small cross, etc.).
