CO2 REVOLVERS
Revolvers work on the same principle as CO2 pistols. They are powered by a 12 g carbon dioxide cartridge. The capacity of the cartridge is on average around 50 shots, which depends on the energy the revolvers can develop, the ambient temperature and so on. These cartridges are disposable, so they cannot be refilled and reused. The fundamental difference between revolvers and pistols is the capacity of the pellets. While pistols have a magazine capacity of over 10 pellets or steel shots, revolvers have a cylinder capacity of only about 6 pellets. We offer revolvers of proven and quality brands such as Crosman (USA), Umarex (Germany) and ASG (Denmark). Most of them are also replicas or imitations of legendary models of COLT, Smith & Wesson and other brands.
TYPES OF REVOLVERS
Similar to CO2 pistols, revolvers include those that are capable of firing only steel shots, only pellets, or a combination of both. Those that shoot pellets have a grooved barrel, which makes shooting much more precise. They are thus also suitable for more accurate target shooting at distances of around 10 m. The projectile energy of such revolvers is usually between 3 to 5 J. A popular and high-quality pellet-shooting model is the Smith & Wesson model 686 from Umarex.
Steel shot revolvers are more suitable for less accurate recreational shooting for fun, for younger, less demanding and novice shooters. These models do not have a grooved barrel, so their accuracy is lower. Nevertheless, they also enjoy great popularity, mainly because of the lower price. In this category, the replicas of Dan Wesson models made by the Danish company ASG are particularly popular.
A revolver that combines the possibility of firing both pellets and steel shots is, for example, the Vigilante model by the American manufacturer Crosman. For example, if you want to shoot with a lot of people at a barbecue, you use cheap steel shots, and if you want to shoot more accurately at a target, you use pellets.
