LONG AWAITED NEW AIRSOFT PISTOL ASG CZ P-10C OR-OT CO2

The development of the CZ P-10C, a compact Czech self-loading pistol, began in 2014 and it was launched in 2017. It is commonly manufactured in two calibers, namely 9 mm Luger and .40 S&W. The CZ P-10C is a competitor to Austria's legendary Glock 19 pistol, with which it shares similar angular shapes, dimensions, weight, concealed percussion mechanism, and a trigger safety on the trigger. Information about an upcoming airsoft replica has surfaced as early as around 2020, but it was officially launched on the European market in December 2023.

BASIC DESCRIPTION OF AIRSOFT PISTOL CZ P-10C

The manufacturer is no other than the official manufacturer of airsoft replica guns of the Czech Arms Factory, the Danish brand ActionSportGames A/S (ASG). At the moment, it is produced only in a 6 mm airsoft version, but a 4.5 mm version that will shoot steel shot is also expected. The airsoft version is offered in a standard version, an OR-OT version, and in two color variants.

Included in the package of the OR-OT version is the pistol, magazine, interchangeable grips, red dot sight base, standard rear sight and two Allen wrenches. The entire package is packed in a black illustrated box. As on all ASG replicas, this one also bears the logo of the Czech Armory and the appropriate markings according to the original pattern.

The projectile energy is supplied to the pistol from a 12 g CO2 cartridge. The cartridge inserts together with the BBs (6 mm BB) into a common magazine. There is also a Blow-Back function, which makes the slide move like on a real self-loading pistol with each shot. Also, the Hop-Up control (adjusting the rotation of the fired bullet) is a matter of course. The pistol is equipped with a trigger safety and a manual safety against accidental discharge, which is hidden from the underside in the frame. The bottom mounting allows the installation of accessories such as a flashlight and laser sight.

TECHNICAL PARAMETERS

Airsoft pistol CZ P-10C CO2 has a decent projectile energy of up to 1.05 J and muzzle velocity up to 100 m/s (330 fps). According to the manufacturer, under ideal conditions it should be possible to fire three full magazines of constant power (66 pellets in total) on a single cartridge. The magazine has a capacity of 22 pellets. The firing mode is semi-auto. The slide release control is ambidextrous. The magazine release button is located on the left side, but a button suitable for left-handed shooters can be purchased.

The disassembly is done by two disassembly segments placed on the sides of the frame, similar to the real model. The frame of the gun is made of polymer. The slide, barrel and internal mechanisms are made of metal. The total length is 195 mm, the barrel length is 90 mm and the weight is 730 g.

SPECIFICS OF THE OR-OT MODEL

The designation OR (optic ready) means that such a version is equipped with a pre-mounting for a red dot sight. You just need to select and install the correct red dot sight on the red dot sight base. However, a standard rear sight is also included. The OT (outer threaded barrel) designation indicates that the barrel is threaded, which allows you to install a silencer on this airsoft gun. The thread type is 14 mm CCW.

CONCLUSION

We have been looking forward to the CZ P-10C airsoft pistol for a long time, because we know that every replica of the Czech pistol by the Danish manufacturer of airsoft guns ASG is successful and the CZ P-10C model has proved it once again. Compared to airsoft replicas of Glock brand by German brand Umarex, it sells at a more affordable price. With these pistols, the CZ P-10C model has the same manual safety system against unintentional discharge, but it is much easier to switch. A big positive is the three interchangeable grips that are included, allowing you to customize the shape and size of the stock to suit your needs. There is perhaps only one detail we could fault. A left-handed magazine release button could have been included, making the pistol fully operable for left-handed shooters without having to buy additional components.
