JOHN WICK 4 – AIRSOFT PISTOL PIT VIPER

Fans of the John Wick film series need no further introduction to the STI Combat Master and STI Pit Viper pistols. The Combat Master model starred in the hands of John Wick (Keanu Reeves) in the third sequel. The Pit Viper model appeared in the fourth sequel of this successful action movie series. Both guns are limited editions on the COLT 1911 platform and their prices range from 5,000 Euros and up. Therefore, the manufacturers of airsoft guns did not miss the opportunity to produce replicas of these weapons.

 MANUFACTURER

Airsoft replica of the STI Combat Master model appeared already on the market around the year 2020. The right to produce a licensed airsoft replica was given to the Danish airsoft gun manufacturer ASG (Action Sport Games A/S). After the success of this airsoft gun model, it was to be expected that the Pit Viper model, which appeared in the movie John Wick 4, would soon appear in the offer of this successful brand in the form of an airsoft gun. The STI Pit Viper airsoft pistol has already started to be distributed at the beginning of 2024 together with the new CZ P-10C airsoft pistol.

FIRST IMPRESSION OF THE AIRSOFT PIOSTOL PIT VIPER

The STI Pit Viper Airsoft Pistol comes in a colorful illustrated box and which includes the pistol, magazine, Allen wrench and illustrated instructions. At first glance, it has similar dimensions and design to the Combat Master model. However, when you take a closer look, you can see the design differences in the finish of the slide and grips, the shape of the trigger guard and the rear sight. The Pit Viper has a larger magazine release button, a shorter barrel, it has a silver trigger, and it features an imitation compensator.

But what do the Combat Master and the Pit Viper have in common? For example, side and height adjustable rear sight, Blow-Back function, adjustable Hop-Up function, FULL METAL construction, supply of the energy from 12 g CO2 cartridge, palm safety, ambidextrous manual safety, bottom mounting rail for accessories, mutually compatible 24 BB (6 mm BB) magazines, fiber optic sight and projectile energy of up to 1.00 J.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The total length of this stylish pistol is 220 mm and the weight is really realistic at 1,125 g. The caliber is 6 mm BB and the magazine capacity is 24 rounds. Along with the pistol, a new extended magazine type with a capacity of up to 30 BBs was also released, which can be purchased separately. The Pit Viper Airsoft Pistol has a projectile energy of up to 1.00 J and muzzle velocity of up to 100 m/s (330 fps). The firing mode is semi-auto. The pellet rotation (Hop-Up) is adjustable. Disassembly is quick and easy.

CONCLUSION

It's really hard to decide whether to choose the Combat Master or the Pit Viper, since both airsoft guns are well crafted. If you're a fan of the John Wick movie and you like airsoft, it's ideal to get both. However, since these are more expensive licensed replicas, you might try to decide based on which part of the John Wick movie series you liked better.
